In the heart of East Atlanta, it’s not just the community spirit that runs deep; beneath many homes, there’s a network of age-old piping that sometimes holds secrets of its own. This was precisely the experience Sandar encountered when he noticed water flowing from his home’s crawl space into his backyard. Alarmed, Sandar reached out to Fix & Flow for help.
Our expert plumber Chad Stephens inspected beneath Sandar’s home and after a careful examination of both the drain and water lines he found that the old galvanized water lines were leaking severely. To make matters worse, this line transitioned to CPVC, which was the primary line servicing the home. It was clear that the aging galvanized line was deteriorating and needed an immediate replacement.
Once the installation was complete, Chad thoroughly tested the new line to ensure everything was functioning properly. Once the tests were finished, our team wrapped up by restoring the driveway to its original state. Chad and his team backfilled the trench, poured fresh concrete and removed any trace of the old infrastructure from the site.
Sandar was relieved and grateful for the timely and efficient service, especially during the week of Thanksgiving. He shared on Yelp:
“We had a big old mess of water in the backyard from a leak in our old pipes coming from the road. We were diagnosed and fixed within days, over the week of Thanksgiving! Stephen and Chad were awesome throughout. Great communication, great explanations – all around great experience!”
