Project Overview
We installed the new water filtration system in the downstairs closet to keep it hidden and maintain the home’s aesthetic. The setup included new isolation valves, a convenient bypass loop for easy maintenance, and two pressure-regulating valves to ensure safe pressure levels. Our expert plumbers repiped the incoming water line behind the closet wall, routing it through the first pressure-regulating valve. This crucial adjustment reduced the pressure from 120-psi to a safer 80-psi through the filter system.
We then installed the main system, allowing water to flow through a new sediment filter, carbon filter, and water softener before passing through the post filter to supply the entire house with purified water. Finally, our crew thoughtfully repiped the system to exclude the front hose spigot from filtration, maintaining full city pressure for outdoor use.
