Uncovering Hidden Issues

Chad, one of Fix & Flow’s experienced plumbers, went to Roberto’s house to perform a thorough sewer line inspection. The team began by removing the toilet in the back bathroom to run a sewer machine through the line. While this helped to clear the immediate blockage, a video inspection revealed a significant break near the foundation wall. This break allowed mud to seep into the line, complicating the situation further.

Next, our team started digging below Roberto’s patio to get a better look at the existing sewer line and begin the repair. With a patio full of pavers Roberto wanted to save, we carefully removed each one and set them aside to prevent any damage. Once the space was cleared, we discovered a large void and a poorly connected cast iron pipe transitioning into terracotta, which had a noticeable hole. This misalignment was causing continuous issues and required a detailed approach to fix it.
